Families Flock Back!

Over the weekend of April 7th, 2023, the video game adaptation Super Mario Bros. hit some power blocks as it pulled in 74% of our ticket sales and pushed the box office to its biggest weekend in 2023! The proof is in the mushrooms: Animated-family films equal box office success!

John Wick remained in top hitman form, landing at our number two spot, barely above the premiering AIR. In fourth we have another game adaptation, Dungeons & Dragons, and finally in our fifth spot, still lurking in the shadows despite being in its fifth week, is Scream VI.

The top five movies, in total, claimed 94% of all ticket sales, 9% more than the week prior!
