Magic Mike's Last Dance Proves a Worthy Alternative to Super Bowl Parties | Weekend of February 10th, 2023
Dance Always Flourishes!
Over the weekend of February 10th, 2023, it’s possible that Magic Mike made for a popular alternative to watching the Super Bowl as it topped our admissions ranker! The weekend was pretty evenly spread across the top 5 movies, each one claiming similar amounts of tickets. Puss in Boots finally overtook Avatar as the blockbuster Way of Water did not land on our top 5 for the first time since its release. But James Cameron was still able to remain in our top five as Titanic’s 25 Year Anniversary performed well docking into our number four spot!
With the Super Bowl being the weekend’s focus, it’s interesting to see the wide range in moviegoer interest as movies of vastly different genres continued to draw crowds to the theaters. This is one of the most evenly distributed ticket sales among our top 5 that we’ve seen!
