Mean Girls Earns More Dollars But The Beekeeper Sells More Tickets | Weekend of January 26th, 2024

The weekend of January 26th saw The Beekeeper & Wonka take the top spot from Mean Girls after two weeks of the musical adaptation reigning supreme. Jason Statham and the chocolatier, despite having sold more tickets, actually earned less at the box office than Mean Girls. This is due to differing ticket prices depending on when and where moviegoers went to see these films.

The fact that Wonka claimed our second spot is quite impressive considering it was in its seventh weekend while The Beekeeper and Mean Girls were in their third weekend. That's no small feat!
