Admission Impossible!

The weekend of July 14th saw the impossible mission of ranking number 1 on our admissions ranker being accomplished by Tom Cruise and Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning - Part One. The blockbuster claimed 32% of all ticket sales and $54M at the box office. In our number two spot was the controversial Sound of Freedom continuing to claim strong ticket sales (22%) in its second weekend.

The Blumhouse production, Insidious: The Red Door closed the weekend out in our third spot while Indiana Jones and Elemental took our fourth and fifth spots.

Elemental may have finally defeated Spider-Man as it sold over 200K more tickets this past weekend than the web-slinger’s movie.
