Over Super Bowl weekend (February 9th), Argylle held on to the number one spot while Wonka reclaimed its #2 spot even in its ninth weekend!

Historically, admissions during Super Bowl weekend see a large drop off compared to the weekend prior. Last year, admissions saw a ~35% drop but this year theaters fared better, drawing in moviegoers and experiencing a milder decline of just 20%.

Lisa Frankenstein, the premiering comedy-horror film, claimed our #4 spot while The Chosen continued to draw crowds despite being a TV show! Dune was re-released in anticipation of the sequel premiering in a couple of weeks and claimed our #9 spot which is impressive considering it has been out for so long.

How long will Wonka and Migration hold on? They've been out for nine and eight weeks respectively, any film that stays in our top 5 for that many weekends is a serious crowd pleaser. Family-friendly entertainment continues to prove powerful for driving crowds to theaters over a long period of time.
