New Year's Eve Weekend saw two family movies top the charts while an eclectic mix of movies rounded out the rest of the top 10.
The top two movies, Wonka and Migration, claimed 40% of all ticket sales while the action-packed Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom claimed 14% of admissions. The next three movies, Anyone But You, The Color Purple, and The Boys in the Boat each claimed 8% of admissions respectively.
New Year's Eve 2023 weekend saw a better box office than 2022 which is a great way to conclude the year for movies!
