Mario Stays on Top!

Over the weekend of April 28th, 2023, Mario continued looking downwards at other titles from atop his pillar on our ranker. The video game adaptation claimed 42% of all ticket sales with the next closest film being Evil Dead Rise, which claimed 13%. The power of family-friendly content combined with massive franchises continues to be proven by Mario’s four-week reign.

The bottom three movies on our ranker were close, the re-release of Star Wars Episode 6 claiming our third spot. In fourth was the debuting Judy Blume book adaption, Are You There God? It’s Me, Margeret. And finally, the hitman clung to the edge of the precipice of our Top 5, claiming 5% of all ticket sales.
