Spider-Man Ensnares Box Office!

The weekend of June 2nd was a webby one as Spider-Man entangled the top spot at the box office and on our weekly ranker. The critically-acclaimed addition to the Spider-Man universe wowed audiences and ultimately claimed 62% of all ticket sales and over $120M at the box office. In second was the new live-action Little Mermaid which claimed 19% after a strong debut the weekend prior. In our number three spot was the adapted horror/mystery, The Boogeyman, proving people’s willingness to see horror films as well as the power of Stephen King’s intellectual property. Our bottom two films were the blockbusters Fast X and Guardians of the Galaxy 3!
