The weekend of June 28th was, once again, a fantastic weekend for cinema. Inside Out 2, even in its third weekend, earned $57M+ and claimed 40% of all ticket sales.
A Quiet Place: Day One premiered and performed quite well, earning over $52M and claiming 31% of all ticket sales. The movie received an 87% critic score on Rotten Tomatoes!
Combined, the top two movies claimed 71% of all tickets and earned over $100M, forging the path for yet another weekend of $100M+ at the box office.
